“Why have I become a member of Shawnee Forward? Serving and giving back is something that I have always felt led and called to do but didn’t exactly know what that would look like. I had no idea I would be given this opportunity in abundance when opening my first practice in Shawnee,” Landes said. “Since 2008 I have been blessed to be able to provide quality physical therapy services to the same community that helped raise me. Expanding my practice to multiple locations and having a highly competent and trained staff has allowed me to focus on investing in the place that I love, Shawnee.”
Action Physical Therapy is a private, locally owned and operated comprehensive outpatient clinic with four locations. They have geared their practice toward orthopedic and sports injuries, post surgical rehab including therapy following joint replacement, hand therapy, industrial and work related injuries, vestibular rehab, and aquatic therapy. Action PT works closely with area coaches and sports programs and takes pride in serving the community through various organizations.

Katie Landes has successfully owned and operated an outpatient physical therapy clinic since 2006, and since 2008 she has been fortunate enough to provide quality care to the people in the community where she was raised and has lived since 1979. Katie has a broad range of experience in outpatient orthopedics and has the privilege of overseeing the day to day operations across the 4 clinics. She is very involved in the community where she has served as president of the Shawnee Lions Club and current advisor to the Shawnee Leos. She is an active member of the Junior Service League of Shawnee and supports employee membership in the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs. She proudly donates her time and resources to many local sports organizations and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the APTA and the Private Practice Section of the APTA. She and her husband Andy have been married since 2001 and are busy raising their two children, Cade and Keylee.
