JOB TITLE: Meat Clerk
ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: FireLake Discount Foods
SUPERVISOR: Meat Market Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Salary:$8.50 to $13.00 hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing acustomer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging everycustomer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all othercomponents of customer service.
2.Ensure sales floor product is of highest quality and freshness.
3.Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandisingpromotions, test merchandise, and advertisements.
4.Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
5.Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving andmonitoring floor stock; ensures re-wraps are done promptly.
6.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing,and loss prevention policies
7.Any other duties assigned by supervisor
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
