The Housing Authority of the City of Shawnee manages 442 Public Housing units and 497 Section 8 Vouchers within the city limits of Shawnee. It is our mission to provide safe, decent & sanitary housing conditions for very low-income families & to manage resources efficiently.
This is moderately responsible work related to the Housing Authority of the City of Shawnee’s property management function. The incumbent is responsible for providing assistance to Asset Managers in work related to the management of their assigned property. Reporting to the Senior Asset Manager or Asset Manager for the assigned AMP (Asset Managed Property), this position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day functions related to leasing and the re-certification of residents. Work assignments are received in the form of specific objectives and performance expectations with some direction in day-to-day operations.
This position requires graduation from high school; a minimum of two years’ experience assisting with the management of multifamily rental property (preferably affordable); or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Salary range for the position is $12.40 to $18.87 per hour. Salary includes benefits package. Starting salary negotiable based on knowledge and experience. Must possess a valid State of Oklahoma driver’s license and pass drug-screening test.
