Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
We need customer-oriented remote techs!
Position: Desktop Support Technician
Starting pay: 14-16 per hr.
Location: Remote, possible onsite visits for customer support near you. We have customers in Kingston, Tulsa, OKC, Lawton.
The work schedule is M-F 8 am to 5 pm.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Support customers with required work, using customer service skills. Comfortable with providing phone support.
Work with a remote and local team. Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite/offsite technical issues related to laptop and desktop systems, software, and network infrastructure. Provide superb technical support and customer service to end-users and end clients. Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software, and computer peripherals. Ability to set up, configure and add all hardware. Assure that all trouble tickets that require follow up work and/or calls received appropriate attention. Back-up and restore end-user data. Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. Relies on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works well under immediate supervision.
Requirements:
Must have Valid Drivers License
2 – 5 years of related desktop and/or deskside support experience.
Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products – including software, hardware, and network troubleshooting skills, Excellent customer service skills.
A+ Certification is preferred.
