About Shawnee Forward

Welcome to Shawnee Forward! We are the result of a strategic merger between the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce and the Shawnee Economic Development Foundation in 2017. This collaboration was formed to enhance our ability to serve the business community more effectively, giving the Shawnee region the best possible opportunities for economic success and growth. 

At Shawnee Forward, our mission is clear: to "enhance regional economic growth." We achieve this by working closely with a diverse range of community stakeholders. Our commitment to comprehensive business support includes aiding entrepreneurs and existing businesses, implementing robust retention and expansion programs, and actively pursuing new investment opportunities through corporate attraction and the creation of quality jobs.
